More quality price comparison schemes wanted by Consumer Panel
03 July 2008
Responding to Ofcom's announcement today on the first two Price Accreditation Scheme kitemarks, Consumer Panel Chair Anna Bradley said:
"Today's award of kitemarks to two companies is good news for consumers wanting quality information to help them find the best deals for their fixed line, mobile, broadband and digital TV. But we want to see many more companies meeting Ofcom's standards for accurate price comparisons and good customer service. Consumers should be aware that if they use providers not kitemarked by Ofcom then they risk an inferior service."
