Topic: Migration to VOIP - consumer awareness of the migration to VOIP and the latest wave of research across regions.

The Panel's National Stakeholder Hubs in April took the form of an All-UK Hub with participants from all four nations- England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The Hub focussed on our latest research into the awareness of and impacts on telecoms consumers, of migration to digital voice over-IP.

Topic:  An introduction to Online Safety.

The Panel’s National Stakeholder Hubs recently focussed on consumers, citizens and microbusinesses, and their awareness of Online Safety. Following the Online Safety Bill reaching Royal Assent on 26 October 2023, and Ofcom becoming the regulator, the Panel felt the importance of providing an introduction to Online Safety, what it means to consumers, citizens and microbusinesses, paying particular focus on how Ofcom would implement measures to regulate in the space, and touch upon Ofcom’s consultation: Protecting people from illegal harms online.
